Labor Practices/DiversityAs a global company, we forge relationships with suppliers who operate in diverse legal and cultural environments. To ensure that our commitment to human wellbeing is upheld, we require that our business partners abide by the same written Code of Conduct that applies to our operations. The code requires that Springs Global suppliers must comply with all applicable laws governing occupational health and safety, compensation, hours of work and employee benefits. The code also specifies that our suppliers must employ management practices that recognize the dignity and rights of the individual and the right to a workplace free of harassment, recognized hazards, abuse and corporal punishment. They must operate on the principle that decisions on hiring, salary, benefits, advancement, termination or retirement are based solely on the ability of an individual to do the job with no regard for race, color, gender, nationality, age or religion. The code specifically forbids child, prison or forced labor, and discrimination of any kind. While the code is based on mutual trust and respect, high standards of ethics, teamwork and honesty, Springs Global diligently verifies each manufacturer's compliance. |
